PALETA
Just like the Iberian ham from acorn-fed pigs, this type is
the culmination of a long process of elaboration: Iberian breeding,
pasture lands, natural nourishment, salt and time.
A noble product that is delicious, as juicy and nutritious as
ham, and with the same texture, fragrance and taste.
It is also available in “recebo” grade.

Characteristics
Stylized with a black hoof and thin leg. The external fat is tender
and of soft texture. The outline is a half-moon cut.

Iberian “paleta” and marine salt.

Bellota” grade: Ranging from 18 to 24 months
Reserve grade: Ranging from 12 to 18 months
Presentation
One piece ranging from 4 to 6 kg in a textile sheath with a mesh. For
transport, vacuum packing is optional. Packing is done in cases for
one or two pieces. All cases are easily handled with fork lifts.
Storage temperature
Always keep in a dry, well protected from light place with a temperature
that does not exceed 18ºC. If the product has been transported
vacuum packed, take it out of the plastic bag after reception and
keep it in the conditions previously stated conditions.
